Sunflower Seed, Cheese, and Peanut Salad

Sunflower seeds are a wonderful daily supplement for getting more energy and endurance in your yoga trainings. These seeds are packed with essential nutrients, including protein, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals. Consuming a small handful of sunflower seeds with other nutritious foods can provide you with a quick energy boost and mood elevation before your yoga session.

Sunflower seeds, cheese, and peanuts can be combined to create a delicious and nutritious snack or salad. Here's a simple recipe for a Sunflower Seed, Cheese, and Peanut Salad:

Ingredients:
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup peanuts (unsalted or lightly salted)
1 medium sized cheese cube finely shredded
2 cups mixed salad greens (e.g., spinach, coriander, or your choice)
1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup Ginger-Sesame Dressing
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
Toast the Sunflower Seeds and Peanuts:
Place the sunflower seeds and peanuts in a dry skillet over medium heat.
Toast them for a few minutes, stirring frequently, until they become lightly golden and fragrant. Be careful not to overcook, as they can burn quickly. Remove from heat and let them cool.

Prepare the Salad:
In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens, shredded cheese, and thinly sliced red onion.
Assemble the Salad:
Add the toasted sunflower seeds and peanuts to the salad.

Dress the Salad:
Drizzle the Ginger-Sesame Dressing over the salad. You can adjust the amount to your taste. Toss everything together to ensure the dressing is evenly distributed.
Season to Taste:
Season the salad with salt and pepper to taste. Remember that the cheese and dressing may already add some salt, so be conservative with your seasoning until you taste the final result.

Serve:
Serve the salad immediately as a side dish
