The Imperfect Pose is like a True Friend who will not let you go in the wrong direction. It reveals to us many hidden dangers or precautions that can harm us in future.
It is the pose which we are not so comfortable to do even when we are positioned in proper alignment. We feel internal resistance and discomfort in our breath, in our joints, in our spine, our breathing and in the way be balance.
It is because of this internal resistance and discomfort that we become more aware and alert of what is really happening within our own body. Without this discomfort we never realise what can go wrong with us in future. This alertness and awareness is the way in which we are guided by higher spiritual powers and guardian angels.
This internal resistance is an indication that some form of stagnant energy is held up in different parts of the body which is not allowing us to express ourselves in the best possible way. The Imperfect pose gives us the opportunity to understand and locate our internal energy blocks.
"Energy blockages are held up in the body due to wrong emotional patterns, heavy karmas, past guilt, our frustrations, our regrets, negative thinking, reflection on past memories, feeling victimised, having low self-esteem and over thinking on needless issues."
Start by practicing, lots of warm ups and a few postures that are compatible to you. Then slowly attempt the postures that are challenging to you. Don't try to push yourself too much while attempting a imperfect posture that can harm your body and joints.
Give more attention to correct your alignment in the posture, use yoga props if needed and reach a point of the stretch, twist or the push in which the internal resistance starts. This is the exact point where you need to get aware
Relax in the pose once you reach this starting point of internal resistance, feel the joint, feel the muscle, feel the stretch, feel the contraction, do deep breathings and try to ease and relax in that imperfect pose. Then do a relaxing asana to let the body heal itself
