GYANA MUDRA AT THE ANAHATA CHAKRA

Anahata Gyana Mudra is done to open the receptive energy at the heart chakra. It is done by both hands with the first finger touching the thumb at the middle of the chest. It can be done after a pranayama session or on its own for 2 or 3 times a day. Attention is kept on the changing feelings invoked by the breathings.
How to practice this mudra?
- Sheetkari pranayama is done in this mudra for 30 breaths to reduce the emotion of anger towards any person or situation into a emotionally balanced understanding of any person or situation.
- Bramari pranayama is done for 21 breaths for inducing a emotional detachment from past memories and events that can be painful or disturbing to you.
- Slow deep breathings is done in this mudra for 5 to 10 minutes to maintain a relaxed and balanced attitude as you go through any emotional sensitive situations in life.
